OUR TRAINING PROJECT
Our association has access to approximately 5 hectares of farmland on the east coast of Kenya, which a very generous landowner has granted us free of charge and on a permanent basis for the operation of an agricultural school. We are already in contact with the Chamber of Agriculture and the University of Agriculture and have sufficient human resources. The vision is to provide young people with a one-year training program in which they learn to grow and care for various fruits, such as pineapples, mangoes, oranges, papayas, and much more, and to sell the harvest at local markets. Those who successfully complete the training will subsequently be provided with their own plot of land and seeds as a starting aid. To launch the school, we need a plow tractor, a well, a barn, equipment, and a training room. Here we need the help of experts and companies to bring this training project to life. For us, sustainably reducing the causes of flight means training young people and giving them career prospects in Kenya.
